Graham started his career in lighting in 1974 with Lighting Design Services in Leeds, where he gained his qualification in general lighting design. He got interested in ‘flashing lights’ and formed Satel UK in the mid 80’s, distributing for the Spanish manufacturer led him to later form an independent lighting design house – Lizard Lighting Designs – providing a service to many trade companies who didn’t have in-house design capabilities. It quickly grew to become one of the leading effects lighting design houses in the UK installation field and was responsible for the design of many award-winning venues. Work included everything from bars to large corporate clubs and culminated in the BEDA award for best lighting design in 1990 – Dukes Experience, Chelmsford. More recently Graham has been involved with various lighting manufacturers / distribution companies and is currently developing business in the North of the UK for Chauvet Professional.
